Review: 2008 Line Shack Petite Sirah San Antonio Valley

Tiny Bubbles...

(Disclosure: This wine was received as a press sample.)  From Lineshack in the San Antonio Valley in Montery County comes Deep, dark, thick, purple bubbles going into the decanter.  This is Petite Sirah.  Concentrated, tannic, full-bodied, gritty, manly, and grapey.  A bit rough around the edges, but likeable for its in-your-face honesty.  Unrefined, but softens with air - in fact, it becomes more and more enjoyable as it breathes.

Tasted blind and guessed to be $12.  Actually runs closer to $15-17.
