(Disclosure: This wine was received as a press sample.) Interesting little Chardonnay. Simple, but gobs of extracted fruit and a pineapple acid bite. Refreshing, but the lingering sugars are cloying and the unveiled alcohol makes it taste like common grocery store wine from the lower shelves. And, alas, it is. Tasted blind and pegged at $8. Bingo. Right on the money.
Bummer. Still, with the winning streak these guys have established with many of their other wines, I wouldn't let this deter me from continuing to experiment with this brand.
