Does the world really need another New Zealand sauvignon blanc? Maybe not, but we could use more that taste like this. Don't let the ultra clear color fool you, this thing is cranked up to eleven. High energy fruit comes across cleanly and inescapably from the first whiff. On the nose is ripe honeydew melon, passionfruit, under ripe kiwi, and more, all in a full-throated delivery. Though the eye-opening aromatics may win you over on their own, the palate offers generous portions of the same, plus an appealing and crunchy acidity. Far from subtle, tough to resist. (Sample)
