2018 Orfila Malbec Reserva Uso Valley $20
Dark, inky, and mysterious in the glass, with long, viscous legs. The nose is internationally-styled, and inviting with its elegance. The palate is where it really delivers (as it should!) Here, dark fruit and strong tannins combine with 80% new oak to create a surprisingly balanced and structured red considering it's brawn. Eminently drinkable and very classy. Particularly good, especially considering the price tag. 89 points (Sample)
