Viognier isn't for everyone, but what about viognier from Arizona? Yes, please. A pleasant surprise, this wine is true to varietal form, and is very well put together. It offers up the best of viognier: magnolia blossom, ripe white fleshed tree fruit, heady aromatics, and a shockingly precise acidity that most California viogniers would be envious of. The long finish has echoes of each step along the way; attack, mid pallet, and the full mouth-coating texture. Wow. Very well done. 89 Points
