Punching Above Its Weight: Brevity Pinot Noir

I'm always skeptical when a salesperson hands me a wine and says something like, "This drinks like a wine double the price." But that's exactly what happened last week. Mike, one of the wine guys at a local favorite market (Littleton's) hasn't steered me wrong yet. He was talking about the 2023 Brevity Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ($22.)

Sure enough, this light-bodied, moderate alcohol pinot is a quality wine that exudes typical characteristics of good Sonoma Coast fruit: Complex and a little spicy, with brightly shining fruit framed by balanced acidity and beautiful poise. Delish. 92 points.
